Phare rond: grand finale!

Today I finally mounted my new round headlight.
Here's the result:





I still have a few things to adjust...
like adding a third support at the bottom of the headlight...
but it already works like this.
Connecting wires was the easiest thing ever.
Then I had to buy a couple of nuts and screws, but it all went very smoothly.
As soon as I can I will write a detailed report and put it online,
in case somebody else wants to do the same.

Well, now little TW has kind of a "Hornet-like" look.
It's even more beatiful than type II...  :-P

Really nice... I'm sure a lot of the forum members are going to copy you. It was one of the tings I wanted to do on my Type I, but I never had the courage to try this...

La bulle semble etre une alternative à l'Ermax. A priori c'est une bulle de marque PUIG. Réference ?
Il serait interessant pour les interessés  :-P  de savoir où on peut en avoir et à quel prix.

The windscreen seems to be a good alternative to the Ermax. It seems to be a PUIG. Reference ?  It woud be interesting for the intersted  :-P to know where and for how much to get one.

Yes, the windshield is a PUIG. It costed me only 19,95 at ww.louis.de. The code is 10006508.

Salut l'anonyme,

La modification, effectuée de main de maître, ne présente toutefois (aux dires du récit qui en est fait) aucune difficulté majeure.

La bulle et le phare rond sont dispos en moins d'une semaine chez louis.de et, en cas de plantage ou de bloquage, l'aide du divin christddel te permettra de mener à bien le projet (deux/trois petits trucs concernant le raccordement du faisceau de ta TW avec le phare ...

Great job Diana !
The headlight looks good and your detailed explanations on your site are really nice for others (like me !) who would like to make the transformation. Let us know if a third attachment point is necessary on the headlight (due to vibrations)
