You will find here the 160ccm Soundcheck (LINK).

You should use a 120 or 122 Main Jet for a correct air/gas mixture.
In my case it was a 120.

From Yamaha - 4,60€
120 Main Jet - Part Nr. 288-14343-60
122 Main Jet - Part Nr. 288-14343-61

Next inportant information.

TW125 Type 1 need a bigger carb, the org. 24mm is to small.
You don't have the full engine power without an other carb.

I saw it on a performance diagram of my TW125.

:-o  Do you mean the 125cc engine or the 160cc ?

macbig2k1

I mean the 160ccm engine.
I have now the 28mm carb from the TW type2 and now the power from the engine is "boombastic".

And here is the link to my new airfilter mod.

Hallo Leute,

MfG, macbig2k1

LUPO

hi macbig,
I would want to replace the carburetor of the tw type 1 (24 mm) to resolve the problem of the hole to the departure.Which carburetor done recommend me?

macbig2k1

The VM26-665 (26mm) from Mikuni is very good to replace the old 24mm Teikei carb.
Please take a look in my shop, there you will be find the carb-kits.

You have to pay for the complete kit for the type 1 152,72 EUR.
And this carb is a very good base for the 140ccm engine.

LUPO

Can the Vm26-665 be climbed on on the tw type 1 without further changes? Is The carburization perfect?  What it is the comprehensive general cost of the shipping and handling for Italy?
I want to climb on only a new carburetor with the original motor from 125cc

You need for the type 1 the adaptors from the type 2.
A friend found a good setting, but he's living in Teneriffa. The setting could fitt for Italy, but you have to make some small tests.

You have to pay for shipping for a max. 5kg parcel 17EUR.

I've asked Mikuni, the VM26 is perfect for the 125ccm and the 140ccm engine.
